According to FINRA reports, following an investigation by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority into the sales practices John S. Hudnall (CRD# 4200298), FINRA has recommended that disciplinary action be brought against Mr. Hudnall for allegedly recommending unsuitable investments to customers as well as making deceptive or fraudulent statements to customers regarding the recommended investments.
A customer complaint is currently pending against John Hudnall for allegedly recommending the purchase of the Wells REIT which unsuitable for the customer based on her risk tolerance and investment objectives.
Stockbrokers have a regulatory obligation to only recommend or engage in transactions that are suitable for their customers and to ensure that any recommendation to purchase investment products are suitable for the needs of each customer.
