According to FINRA reports, Steven Hiles was terminated in February 2015 from his broker-dealer, NY Life Securities LLC after declining to respond to the broker-dealer's request for information regarding a customer complaint in which the customer alleged that he gave Steve Hiles $65,000 to invest and that Mr. Hines did not respond to inquiries regarding his portfolio and specifically regarding how the funds were invested. In April, FINRA suspended Steven Hiles for three months, during which Mr. Hines cannot sell any securities, for failing to respond to FINRA's request for information.
