According to FINRA reports, Mark D. Holt has been the subject of several recent customer complaints alleging the use of customer funds for his own personal use, theft, unjust enrichment and making negligent misrepresentations to customers while registered with Harbour Investments, Inc. based in North Oaks, Minnesota. In January 2014, Mark Holt was permanently barred from the securities industry by FINRA after failing to respond to a request for information and, in March 2014 Mark D. Holt pled guilty to a felony charge of wire fraud. He is currently serving a ten year sentence in federal prison for stealing more than $4 million from his investment advisory clients. Mark Holt, who owned and operated the Harbour Investment Planning Group, LLC (later knows as the Harbour Group, LLC), from 2002 through January 2014, is charged with operating a fraud scheme for at least eight years during which time he allegedly diverted customer funds to fund his own lavish lifestyle.
