Kons Law Firm continues to investigate Richard Schwartz and RAS & Associates following allegations that Richard Schwartz was believed to be running a Ponzi scheme targeting investors in and around Kokomo, Indiana.
Based on news reports, Richard Schwartz convinced some of his clients to invest with his wealth management business, RAS & Associates, which he allegedly represented was generating 10-15 percent annual returns for investors. Richard Schwartz allegedly told some of these investors that their money was invested in the RAS & Associates Retirement Savings Plan.
Unfortunately for investors, upon information and belief Richard Schwartz was allegedly operating a Ponzi scheme through which investors may have lost most, if not all of the money that they invested.
Investors may nonetheless be able to recover their losses through FINRA arbitration. Richard Schwartz was registered with various brokerage firms during his career, who were responsible for properly supervising his activities. Investors may be able to recover their losses from these brokerage firms if that he was registered with had improperly supervised Richard Schwartz’s activities.
