According to FINRA reports, Alain J. Florestan (CRD# 2818942) is being investigated by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority for allegedly making unsuitable recommendations of a trading investment strategy to his customers when Mr. Florestan himself did not understand the risks of the investment strategy or the impact the staggering commissions and fees generated by the strategy would have on his customers' accounts.  As a result of the unsuitable recommendations, Alain Florestan's customers accounts suffered over $1.1 million in realized trading losses while paying over $1 million in commissions and fees.

Mr. Florestan was suspended by FINRA in July 2015 and is currently not licensed to act as a stockbroker. Alain was formerly registered with Caldwell International Securities from April 2012 until May 2015.
