According to FINRA reports, Michael J. Talin is currently being investigated by the Superior Court of Orange County, CA for allegedly fraudulently depositing 48 checks that he received from one of his clients into a his own personal checking account.
Michael Talin is also being investigated by the Superior Court of California for alleged "theft from elder", money laundering and for allegedly engaging in fraudulent practice while employed by Woodbury Financial Services, Inc. as an investment advisor. Mr. Talin was discharged from Woodbury Financial Services, Inc. in May 2015 after failing to disclose a civil complaints and three tax liens to the firm.
