How Do I Join The Robinhood Data Breach Class Action Lawsuit?
On Monday, November 8, 2021, Robinhood Markets Inc. disclosed that data from certain customers of its mobile trading app was accessed in a breach last week. Robinhood (NASDAQ: HOOD) disclosed that a customer-support employee was tricked into giving access to systems late on November 3, 2021. The hacker was then able to access a list of about 5 million email addresses as well as full names for about 2 million customers, with a smaller subset of customers (possibly 310 customers), potentially having more data at risk. Although Robinhood stated that no social security numbers nor payment information was accessed, customers may still have to pursue relief.
